The a16z New Media Fellowship is back.
We’re running two cohorts per year. Our first cohort, consisting of 65 fellows who are some of the best in tech x media, launched at the start of this year. You can read everything about them here.
By popular demand, we’re now launching New Media Fellowship Cohort #2.
NMF2 will run for eight weeks, from Mon 4/20 to Fri 6/12. It's a community (and a terminally online group chat) with immense cultural power, and remarkable folks who’ve cut their teeth in the legendary MrBeast production machine, written for the HBO show Silicon Valley, or led marketing at hyper-growth startups like Lovable.
Like NMF1, this second cohort will focus on biweekly IRL dinners and events in San Francisco, where fellows share insights and stories from their work.
On top of the dinners, we provide cool portfolio company opportunities, resources, and ideas for fellows to explore, no matter where they are based.
Finally, you’ll be able to join the first NMF retreat, where you'll meet fellows from both cohorts - like Logan Kilpatrick (Google Deepmind), Amelia Salyers (Notion), and Lindsay McCallum Rémy (OpenAI). Come hang out with the best, demo your projects, lead a mini session, and more.
Applications close on 4/10 at midnight PT. We’ll be reviewing apps on a rolling basis to fill our limited number of spots. You can apply here if you’re interested.
If you have any questions, email bliang@a16z.com. We look forward to reading your application!
