I've been sitting here pondering what to comment since one of my young adult children chose the 'traditional' college path, and one did not - and I've spoken with other parents of like-aged children who have experienced the same. It certainly took time, as a fellow Blue Devil, to adjust to a child of mine who had different expectations of where life could lead. What I'm most proud of as a parent is that my children have discovered their interests and have had the fortitude to pursue them.
