This is the same pattern I've seen in legal ops and back-office insurance processing: the actual expertise (diagnosis, underwriting, legal judgment) is maybe 20% of the job, and the other 80% is state-changing busywork between systems that don't talk to each other. The startups winning in these spaces aren't building better doctors or better lawyers, they're building better plumbing. Makes me wonder which other professions have this same 80/20 split hiding in plain sight.
