Really inspired by what the a16z Design Engineer Fellowship is building, especially the idea of “thinking in systems, not screens.” In the AI era, the future belongs to builders who can combine design, engineering, empathy, and product thinking into one craft.
I applied because I deeply believe AI should not only make products smarter, but also make opportunities more accessible for humanity. As someone building a career platform helping students and international talent find internships and jobs, I see firsthand how important thoughtful design and AI-native systems are in shaping people’s futures.
I would also love to see more students and new graduates from design backgrounds included in programs like this, especially those without strong networks or access to Silicon Valley. Sometimes one opportunity, one conversation, or one mentor can completely change a person’s life trajectory.
Thank you for building something meaningful for the next generation of creators and builders. As the Bible says, “Love thy neighbour as thyself.” We rise higher when we help others rise too. God bless all the people who designed this program. May your wisdom, creativity, and vision spread all over the world and inspire the next generation of builders to create technology that serves humanity with purpose and compassion.
